NAMI-DKK has many different group and general meetings that anyone can attend:

  • General Meetings - This is a meeting open to the public that offers programs of interest such as new research, how to navigate the mental health system in Illinois etc. The meetings are held at various locations.

  • Support Meetings - Solutions to common problems are explored at "caring and sharing" meetings; members share experiences and develop skills to use when coping with the "ups-and-downs" of mental illness.

  • Specialty Meetings - These focus on areas of need such as housing, insurance parity, etc.

For more information about participation in one of these meeting call the NAMI office in Aurora (630) 896-6264
