The Family to Family Education Course is a free 12 week education course offered annually to family members of individuals with serious and persistent brain disorders (mental illness). It has been described by families in Kane County as "life changing." It offers current and comprehensive information on the major mental illnesses and the biology of the brain. Classes in communication skills, self-care and problem solving bring class members insight, understanding and empowerment.

Classes

Family-to-Family Class in DeKalb:

This class is to be rescheduled to a later date

Location: Kishwaukee Hospital, in the Cafeteria Annex, DeKalb, Illinois

(Enter the main entrance of the hospital, to the cafeteria, pass through the cafeteria, then turn left to enter the annex room.)
Classes will be from 7:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.

Family-to-Family Class in St. Charles:

This class is not scheduled at this time.

Location: The First Congregational Church of Christ, 40W451 Fox Mill Blvd, St. Charles, IL.  

Time: Classes will be from 7:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.
