NAMI has many different groups and general meetings
that anyone can attend:
- General
Meetings - This is a meeting open to the
public that offers programs of interest such as new
research, how to navigate the mental health system
in Illinois etc. The meetings are held at various
locations.
Family-to-Family
is a 12-week support class that will help you cope
with the family member who has a mental illness.
It is conducted at various times through out the
year.
Please

NAMI-Kane County South office. There is no fee for

Specialty
Meetings - These focus on areas of need
such as housing, insurance parity, etc. For
more information about participation in one of these
